My name is Julia Mandle and I provide reflexology treatments in Glendowie and home visits in central Auckland. Reflexology is a relaxing natural therapy which helps balance the body and promotes healing. I see clients for a wide range of general conditions but also specialise in Fertility and Maternity Reflexology.
I am a fully qualified and insured reflexologist with a Diploma from the Bayly School of Reflexology, accredited by the Association of Reflexologists.
I have had a long standing interest in complementary and holistic therapies and was first introduced to Reflexology during my first pregnancy in 2008. After a reflexology session had a profound impact on me I become very interested in Reflexology and especially in Maternity Reflexology and was thinking how nice it would be to help other women throughout their pregnancies. However, because I had done a Master’s Degree at Birmingham University I decided to start my career in Finance, which I found very unsatisfying and I always had high stress levels. I have decided to follow my heart and embark on a new career path in complementary therapies. Training as a Reflexologist was the best decision I have ever made and I am very happy that I can help others. I have also completed a course in Maternity Reflexology (including Fertility and Postnatal Reflexology). I am very professional and keen on providing high quality treatments to my clients. I am passionate about my work and I put my heart into every treatment because I love what I do.
• I graduated from the Bayly School of Reflexology. For my Diploma of Reflexology I have successfully completed 1200 hours of training over a year with 100 hours of case studies. To complete my course I had to achieve a very high theory pass mark of 70% which ensures that I am competent and trained to the highest standard. I was awarded a Level 5 Diploma in Reflexology, accredited by the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) the UK’s Professional Body for Reflexology.
• I have completed specialist training in Fertility, Maternity and Postnatal Reflexology taught by Annette Lobo- Consultant Midwife for NHS Fife and Reflexologist (studied with the Scottish School of Reflexology).
• Supporting Conception and Supporting Maternity course with Sally Earlam, the Maternity Specialist for the Association of Reflexologists
• I am a Reiki Master Practitioner – trained with Heather Portuous, Edinburgh (Reiki I/II) and Jen Gold , East Linton (Reiki Master).
• Indian Head Massage (Champissage™) – a certificate from the London Centre of Indian Champissage International – the first one to originate the Indian Head Massage developed by Narendra Mehta – guru of the British indian head massage movement.
• Comprehensive First Aid Plus (16 hours) Certificate from Red Cross New Zealand.
• I am a Full Member of the Association of Reflexologists, UK and abide by their strict code of ethics.
• I am a Full Member of Reflexology New Zealand (RNZ)– the National Reflexology Association for Professional Reflexologist in New Zealand.
